8 oz cream cheese

1 small lemon

2 tablespoon fresh dill

1 fresh garlic clove

8 oz cold smoked salmon

capers

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Cut the baguette into ¼th – ½ inch slices, and arrange them on a baking sheet.
  • Spray both sides with olive oil and bake for about 9 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
  • Remove from the oven and set aside to cool.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, dill, lemon juice, crushed garlic, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  • If desired, spoon the mixture into a piping bag.
  • Once the crostini have cooled, arrange the slices on a serving platter.
  • Divide the salmon among the crostini, placing one slice on each.
  • Pipe a small dollop of the cream cheese mixture on top of each salmon slice.
  • Garnish with capers and a sprig of fresh dill, then serve and enjoy!
